Twas the night before Christmas

And all through the house

The Elves were all stirring

And feathers flying like a henhouse!

I was hoping St. Nicholas

would soon come here

While the bread was rising

And the egg nog socializing

But visions of sugar-plums

Became a dancing nightmare!

I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter

And rushed to the Christmas tree

To save all the clatter;

Oh my, those drunken elves

Put steam to my wondering ears!

And what to my wondering eyes should appear,

Tangled Christmas Chicks danging from ladders

And the Elf who was once on the shelf

Began tinkling all over the table.

Hedgehogs amid a snowball fight,

How did those pugs sleep through the plight?

I knew in a moment St. Nick needs to be late!

When all of another sudden I hear,

“Now, Runa! now, Alia! now, Julala and Kerryth!

On, Bambi! on, Luna! on, Marge and Sway!

To the top of the tree! to the top of the wall!

Now dash to clean! dash away! dash to save all!”

Finally a twinkle

And a cheer from them all

Dont’ visit Dandelion Daydreams

If you don’t want to end up

Like all these drunken elfs!

But off in a distance I did hear

Must have been St Nick himself

Singing and driving away…

“Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good-night.”

This round is celebrating “France” as it’s special theme where you can wonder through a carousel park, shop the quaint vendors and admire the charm of a French Christmas motif!

My exclusive for this round is “Saint Tropez Vineyard Arbor & Decor”; full of damasks and glittery marbles, an exquisite tufted set of loungers and ottomans along with pink poinsettias in marbled vases.  I positioned two lovely columns at the entry adorned with a woman’s figure holding molten colored grapes.  I know you will enjoy the soft rose golds and pinks in this ensemble!
