Contessina de’ Medici for TWE12VE Event

I’m thrilled to be a Designer in the monthly TWE12VE Event! The first day of the event I had so many sales immediately that I had to copy my SL Transaction List over again. There are some wonderful Designers at this event and everyone has some great items following the theme “Fantasy Flowers”! Come check it out!

With all my heart I love the Venetian Carnival world!  My trips in real life to Venice educated me on their history and Comedia del Arte’! I go a bit nutsy when it comes to designing for it or to blog something within this theme.

For this round of TWE12VE the theme is “Fantasy Flower”; so I went aha!  It’s Venice time!

I created a gorgeous floral fantasy hat and went a little crazy with the design! It is amazing on!  The golds, creams, fuchsia blend so well together and it coordinates perfectly with the gown! All of the items in this set can be mixed and matched!

Tlalli Around The World is one of my favorite events to design for…and to blog for! Each round offers a different country as the theme. This round is “India” and everyone’s productions at this venue are out of this world!

My creations are centered around the Maharas Hindu Markets and vibrant colored items you would find in those crowded treasure troves!

Lei Zu Kimono Mini & Jacket And Neck-Ear Set

The Silk Road XI Hunt & Sale has been around forever in Second Life and everyone enjoys all it brings! The landscaping is awesome, shopping is amazing and the Hunt is fun!

I created several Exclusive Items for this venue. For this review I am showing my Lei Zu Kimono Mini Dress & Jacket along with my Lei Zu Luscious Necklace and Earring Set.  The 2 sets are sold separately.

The Kimono Jacket comes 2 ways:  1) Sheer and 2) Full throttle fabric!  The fabric is a mix of my own creation blending golden peacock feathers within.  The necklace set matches perfectly!

These are available at both my BamPu Legacies Shop! and at my precious cart at Silk Roads  Cart (at the top of the winding cliff steps) where the ever so famous hunt begins.

Ivar’s Viking Sets

My love for anything Viking and especially The Vikings TV Series always inspires me!

Ivar is a love-hate kind of Viking. We’ve seen the good and the worst baddest of him. The final Season will be out next year and I believe we shall see his final true colors!

I created quite a few items along the Viking theme for “I Heart The Cart’s” June 2020 Event called “Can You Dig It”! The theme is set as “Ancient” and you will find all types of ancient tidbits at this sale!

The sim is gorgeous, once again and you need to at least visit it if not to “hunt” or buy the specials and exclusives, but to photograph it as well!

So, yes, as mentioned above there is a Hunt and the venue stays quite busy with everyone coming in and out to “dig”!

Ready to TLALLI? 

Let’s do it India style, shall we? There’s never been a more saturated event that I’ve seen yet in Second Life that contributes to and embraces the beautiful country of India.  Your mouth will drop when you visit the venue; not only for the gorgeous sim design but each and every Designer has created absolute bundles of India for you to select from!

The difficulty in selecting a Sari or gown from my blog review packs has had my head spinning for which to review!  I want to blog them all!  Each garment is classic and pure!  So throwing the dice, I picked for this photo Zaara’s Kanchi Sari India Gown!  It is available in several colors and each has a color HUD for the trim.  Her original mesh design excels beyond excellence.  The fit is smooth and flows with my mesh body without any jagged sticking out’s as some gowns will do!  Bravo to you Zaara and I can’t wait to see you again!

E l e i. created skillful eyeshadows (“Bel” Eyeshadow Pack) with the India presence; layering them creates a different look and the main shade can be tinted.  There is a nice black eyeliner in the pack, too! I tried it for this pic but the colors I am using for my photo weren’t quite right for the eyeliner – so I’ll wear it for the next review – because it’s perfect!  Here’s a close-up of her ad on Flickr. I highly recommend getting this to polish off any of your India-inspired moments and ensemble!

We all love and flock to anything Jinx creates! I’ve blogged for her starting way back when she was part of “We Love To Blog” inworld group and have watched her grow, multiply, expand and rise above when it comes to animesh.  I don’t think there’s a single person in Second Life who doesn’t own their very own “Ickle”!  And this little baby elephant has won my heart!  The animation HUD has him jumping, sleeping, snooting out loud with his trunk and sounds off as a cute little horn, flicking his trunk around and much more.  I think I’ll keep him!

Any time I get the chance to review Moondance Boutique’s jewelry, I do so all the way!  Her packs include everything but the kitchen sink and her HUDS are endless in selections.  I am wearing her “Shefali Jewerly Set” which contains rings, necklace, earrings, bracelets and a gorgeous India-style Tikka!

And finally, if you love henna tattoos, make sure to pick up Verveine’s LAAD BAZAAR Indian Henna Tattoo.  She offers the design in 4 different levels of shading for your skin and it was easy-breezy to apply to my mesh body tattoo layer!

June is a busy month in Second Life as well as bucket full of Holidays and Celebrations around the world. 

SWANK Event is celebrating “Pride” and the designers have gone coo-coo teasing us with rainbows of products!  Harshlands designed these impressive huge buckets of spilt paint (in many colors) along with 3 Rainbow Curtains.  I’m oozing in glee and painting my world!

QUOTE by SWANK: “Colors Celebrate Life! offers beauty! Symbolizes hope & Celebrations in the way we live, love, work & play as well as diversity in Sexuality & Gender!”

I kept wondering what I could paint…..what would look fun with these paint buckets!

Then I saw the notice come in from MINIMAL for their June Group Gift – mentioning “Pride Bus”.  So I jumped on over there to pick mine up and the lightbulb went off in my head.

Pairing the multicolored bus, paint buckets and these cute little “Animesh Libellune Miss Elephants” by SEmotions pulled part of my story together.

The bus is huge and perfect for the paint buckets to spill over, splatter and color!  With this type of photo, I couldn’t do a close up of “me”!  But I tried to get in there somehow. 

The story behind the Elephant Mural begins in Deep Ellum, Dallas, Texas.  This is actually one of my personal photographs I brought into SL for the background.  The mural is called “Deep Elllumphants” and painted by Adrian Torres for which he has won many awards for this.  Deep Ellum is abundant with murals and grafitti!  In fact, my nephew was paid big dollars to finish a painting that he started, got arrested because he didn’t have a permit, and the owner of the building bailed him out and commissioned him to finish it.  If you ever visit Dallas, you will be told to get down to Deep Ellum for fun, drinks, shopping, dancing, art, the graffiti & murals, and dining!

Anywhooo, back to my review…

Inspired by the Pride designs in my review, I thought the Ellumphants would be perfect! So I hope you enjoy my scene.

And the final fashion touch:

The Fashion Loft is having their annual Sale & Hunt Event: “Sail Into Summer”! I designed for this event as well as blogging for it.  I’ll do a close up next of this precious Moana Romper by AMUI that is part of this event.  The Hunt Items are $1L and the New Designs for the event are $99L – all store based, but you have to pick your HUD up at their TFL Headquarters!
