Bambi Chicque is the sole Owner & Designer of BamPu Legacies. I love to create fantasy & roleplay clothing and décor. I am also in a lot of different styles of Events and Hunts where I will create Fashion, Home & Garden, Landscape, Fantasy, Shoes and Holiday items. I am in the process of updating and adding more Men’s Clothing since this is a category in much demand.
I spend hours upon hours creating high quality textures and interesting items. I am an Artist, Graphics Designer & Photographer in real, so everything I put out there has to be the best I can do because it’s my reputation. The same goes for Second Life and my shop items as well as my Blog reviews for events and Designers.
I have also been a Blogger myself since 2012. It was a learning curve for my SL photography and what the typical Designer loves and doesn’t. My Flickr Awards also told me a lot, too! I get invites to blog for Events and Designers and I have to pick and choose since I am a Designer and my time is balanced for both.
My Blog Manager is Trinity Rambler (inworld name) / Planet Trinity (Flickr name).

Trinity will assist in handing store sales and managing our fabulous Bloggers. She maintains a spreadsheet that will be vital to our system in working with Bloggers. She is a social butterfly with a beautiful personality.
We both are excited to work with professional Bloggers and you are invited to apply here! We are always at your fingertips if you need to have fun, ask us to join you in a review photo (I am a Blogger too!) and conversation!
We are seeking loyal Bloggers who believe in our brand and are excited to help us build our commerce and name. We’re not looking for short term cooperation.

🌷 🌷 RULES 🌷 🌷
🌷 Blogger must have a current and active blog with at least 6 months of blogging and a stable following base (1000+ Followers and 500+ views per pic).
🌷 Bloggers Must blog 3 times per month. Of course, we would love for you to blog all the items we send to you, but we know that is a little silly to ask!
🌷 Bloggers must review a full “complete outfit” or “full “complete set” from one monthly event. I am usually in several events per month, so I do prefer you accomplish two items from my events.
🌷 The blog must contain the accurate name/spelling of the store “BamPu Legacies”
🌷 The blog must contain the accurate full name of the item and description. Talk a little about the set! Drive your customers to want it.
🌷 The blog must contain the SLURL of the Event along with the SLURL to the BamPu Legacies Shop.
(Note: There is a possibility I will move my current shop to a larger setting soon. I closed my huge shop about a year ago due to Huntington’s Chorea Disease biting me in the butt; so I am working to reset my shop and theme as soon as I can.)
🌷 The blog post/Flickr post/photo must contain corresponding tags: “BamPu Legacies” and the event name, type of item, etc.
🌷 Each blog post photo must be added to the BamPu Legacies Flickr Group; along with tagging Bambi Chicque and Planet Trinity (Blog Manager).
🌷 The blog must contain the 1) dates of the event, 2) the exact name of the event, 3) provide my shop landmark with a statement that the item(s) will be in the shop once the event is over, 4) SLURL to event/booth. A notecard will be provided with all event information and item information.
🌷 The Blogger must have an inworld Group available for BamPu Legacies VIP.
🌷 Bloggers are required to do 2 things once you complete your blog and post your photos on Flickr (both are quick and easy):
1 – Bloggers will be able to send notifications in the inworld BamPu Legacies VIP Group. This way both Blog Manager and myself have access to all of that particular blog’s links.
2 – You will tag us on Flickr – Blog Manager (Planet Trinity on Flickr) and myself (Bambi Chicque). Trinity keeps a spreadsheet for each Blogger which denotes everything we need to have on you and each blog review.
🌷 The Blogger must add the BamPu Legacies Logo to their website and anywhere else you have a social media depicting you are an Official Blogger!
🌷 We are looking for “high quality”, well thought out, story-telling, well planned (not quick toss out photo shot) and use of skilled photo editing of photographs. Think of it as if your photo will hang in an art gallery.
🌷 Some tasteful nudity is allowed, but porn is not accepted. Harmful content is not allowed; along with racial or political.
🌷 VACATION or BREAKS – Life happens! If you need to take a week or so off, please announce it in our inworld group -AND- send us a notecard letting us know the dates. Inactivity of 3 months will result in removal of group and blog abilities.
🌷 If you are a male only, or a female clothing only, or a H&G only or a mix of any styled Blogger we are accepting this as long as you let us know which category you wish to blog. When I first started to blog, I only reviewed fantasy/medieval female clothing. As time went on and I was invited to blog for events and other Designers, I branched out to all styles. So, being a part of our talent team, you have the opportunity to do it all here as well!

🌷 🌷 TIPS & FOOD FOR THOUGHT 🌷 🌷
Below will give you an idea of what we are looking for and some thoughts on blogging for my shop (or even other Designer’s items). This should not deter you from moving forward with the application because we know everyone has to start somewhere or some are quite advanced in their work. We will be going through each individual’s sites to see where you are in your style, your social media engagements and responses, your progress and how you present your work within a timeline.
=> Please visit my FLICKR so you can get some idea of what my style of blogging is and take a peek at some of my designs. Not all designs are shown, though (working on updating everything for 2022).
🌷 We understand there is a trend to turn your photo completely sideways in order to show a full outfit closeup, but myself along with many other Designers I have talked with are not keen to this. Cropping your photo at a slight angle to give it some composition is great! I surely do this myself.
🌷 Take the time in photoshop/editing program to edit, use proper Aspect Ratios for cropping, centering/aligning using a composition visual feel and stylizing a shot. Cleans up jagged edges or weird hair sticking out of a hat, etc.
🌷 Take the time to set out a scene and not just “plop” something out quickly, shoot a fast shot and run with it.
🌷 Using windlights along with some creative editing.
🌷 Knowing how to use the camera inworld! Taking shots at the right zoom settings, angles and focal facing is important. Get creative!
(TIP: CTL+0 gets rid of sideways heads or items and gets you closely focused.)
🌷 Showcasi a “complete outfit” or the “full set” of items; ensuring they are the focal point of the visual. With the clothing, please “wear it all” and not mix someone else’s skirt with my top if I have provided a full set with matching textures. Of course, you may add someone else’s’ items (such as headdress, jewelry, etc.) to enhance your wardrobe shot.
🌷 Notes on the male & female mesh outfits: As a Blogger myself, I have a folder set up with my different mesh bodies and heads (just like anyone does) along with “shapes” that work for mesh outfits in case I need to change for those reviews. Some of my BamPu Legacies clothing sets will be a mix and match for mesh bodies and fitmesh; so, you probably already have different shapes, but you may want to consider this if not. Most sets are consistent with all the mesh bodies.
🌷 OUR FINAL GOAL – The reviews and photos should send people flying to an event or shop to buy the set. You are joining a team that provides you with quality items that took hours and hours to complete with the purpose of making sales. Help us grow and “Show me the money”! LOL
