Some people come into our lives for a while, leave footprints on our hearts and we are never the same.
The most beautiful discovery true friends make is that they can grow separately without growing apart.
One of my dearest and best friends, Harley, and business partner in Second Life vowed to marry and cherish forever my truly dear and lovely friend, Simba !
It was an exciting morning in all the preparation for this grand wedding.
I selected an exquisite pink gown that I had picked up at the Hollywood 2013 Event by FA Creations since Simba told me her colours would be pink. I quickly dressed and…….
I sent my radar IM to Harley and asked if he had picked out a tuxedo yet. He had and, of course, Simba had already approved…..BUT….
I knew that one of my favorite designers of Second Life had quite an impeccable selection of tuxedos and asked if he wanted me to send a limo over to visit Adam EdelStein’s grand shop
and see if he preferred something else that would knock him off his grooming feet.
With the quickening of a TP we landed and he was in awe. My gift to Harley was this magnificent “OLLERUS” prince style ensemble including the royal boots.
Simba popped in and was much delighted as well. (I designed and created an amazing Gazebo set up for Simba, but will post pictures of this at a later date.)
We arrived at the Chapel “Houses of Jana ~ Chaton” with much grace and anticipation to mingle among the enchanted guests.
There was a sense of love and friendship in the air while friends found their seats and quietly listened to the music and breathtaking wedding vows pronounced by the Minister, Jana.
Vapor appeared in a spunky and delightful mood:
While Slayer appeared in an aurora of mystery and respect:
I captivated dozens upon dozens of luscious pix of the beautiful bride, Simba, but selected this particular photograph to adorn her with florals as beautiful as she.
Her delicious wedding gown is the creation of Celeste Weddings “Sony eLee SAB White” by Vivians Artizar
It flowed in harmony amid the surrounding gala as she sparkled like a Queen.
You can see here in the photograph a glimpse of Simba’s lovely Maid of Honour, Nurs:
The reception was more exciting than one can imagine with the wedding cake, follies and dancing. Most especially fun was the tossing of the bouquet:
FORTUNE BOUQUET POEM
“If friends were flowers, you would be the perfect rose.
So catch my bouquet, my special friend, hold it close to your heart.
And always remember me, your friend, and we’ll never be apart.”
Since the wedding, I visit Harley & Simba’s chalet often to enjoy games and chatting while we storm up ideas for the business. Designing stages are still a work in progress, but time will tell where we land!
I hope you enjoyed this segment with the wedding details. It was an exciting day for me and I was honored to be a part of their special day.
Congratulations Harley & Simba! Love you!

A journey through Second Life can include more than just a mere visit to a sim for a glance or to shop; one never knows what surprises you’ll find along the way. But first? Must go shopping for that right outfit together!
My friend, Gopu suggested we shop for coordinating winter fur jackets. I knew just the right place! So we hit one of my very favorite stores “Gabriel Fashion & Accessories”. Of course, you can’t leave that fabulous store without looking around and picking up a few more things before heading out for the evening! Oh…and they allow you to purchase gifts for your friends on site. Gift exchanging can be fun any time of the year! Our deciding selection for a stroll on the Waterfront was Gabiel’s “Mega Fur Jacket” ensemble. There are many wonderful fur designers in Second Life, but we had to pick out more than one set as their designs are superlicious! I have found these matching White Fur Boots to be one of my fav’s!
So we headed straight to the Waterfront where several sims had pulled together for a special event. Along the way we met a quite friendly pup that just had to be played with. We walked him home and headed down the path for more to see and do.
We stopped for a rest at a local farm area and fed the beautiful horses ripe red apples. Gazing at the stars for a while, the music set the pace for a decision to dance.
After stopping a few times to take photographs, I noticed Gopu at the “Awffle House” ~ where I come from that’s Waffle House! I joined him for the Michael Jackson Thriller dance….oh and so did a few Zombies!
As it began to draw closer into the night, we decided to take a little swim. Much to our surprise we encountered a lovely spunky dolphin who was friendly enough to join us.
We became a bit thirsty and decided to stop off for a cocktail and found ourselves on the dance floor once again ~ a usual custom we have had when we get together.
Finally, the night wouldn’t end right without a mere friendly Second Life hug.
Make sure you visit Gabriel’s soon. They have a live DJ from time to time as you shop among many new items, sales and visit the other nearby venues. I’m sure you will find Gabriel’s to be one of the finest clothing and accessory stores for men and women!
Stay tuned as I have hundreds more ventures to share with you. There is still much tweaking to do for the opening of the BamPu’s Enigmacious Merhaven along with many more surprises to come!
Until next time!
Ciao!

Coming from another popular virtual world where I worked as a Moderator
for several years as well as obtaining a high profile status as a Player and a
Master Mission Maker was a hard decision to grasp when I made my move
to SecondLife. I had been honored by having 3 Featured Missions;
selected from thousands available to play. I still get questions on my Facebook and
Skype about particular interactions
for them when someone gets stuck and needs help!
But, upon discovering a new passion in the creative challenges and endless possibilities for
my talents, I decided to tread through deeper waters in SecondLife!
I knew I was hooked the first day my friend brought me into this new world
and my head instantly whirled with ideas! I began designing as soon as I arrived
in Second Life and “foldered-up” lots of goodies to prepare for my shop:
As far as my real life goes, my Father taught me how to design jewelry many moons
ago, may he rest in peace. Clutched with my modeling career, some acting and
dancing for Star City Dancers, listed with Kim Dawson Modeling Agency,
and working at the Dallas Apparel Mart as a Showroom Manager and
Marketing Director – I soon began to design my own lines of fashion jewelry
and clothing. I did this up until about 5 years ago when I moved to Alaska
for a photography adventure which lasted well over a year!
I have been blessed throughout my entire life and looking back at all the countries
I visited and fell in love with, all the worldly friends I am cherished with and
my family’s love – my life has now been sprinkled yet again with hundreds
of new friends with whom we all share a common goal together in SecondLife!
I have a Marketing Degree which has really helped put me on the map
for any business I develop. I have also written story lines for books
(and possibly screenplays since I have a local Director/Producer here in Dallas
urging me to get one to him) to be soon published. Yep, I stay quite busy!
I have my own photography website and building a new one at the moment.
I have accumulated hundreds of Awards on Flickr for my SL Photography
and have opened an Art Gallery where I have many plans to invite
some of my fellow Photographers to share their work there, too!
Both my Grand Mother and my Father taught me to paint and I spent
endless summers developing many more creative
talents that hold a special place in my heart because of them.
I have even been told that I could take Fred Sampson’s old grungy garage
and turn it into a Smithsonian Museum! LOL
My time today is devoted to creating unique and creative items for Hunts and Fairs,
I am in photoshop just about 24/7, I spend time at one of my best friend’s Ranch
outside of Austin, Texas where I ride horses and take photographs and
I create more and more clothing and decorative items while adding
to my shops in SL. But, the most favorite thing I love to do is my
Photography and Graphics – especially within the never-ending amazements
we all share and glide through in SecondLife!
I am a shopaholic and a gachaholic! I love buying poses, hair, jewelry, shoes…etc!
I have the honor of blogging for many other Designers and my IM’s are
capped every day with questions, requests, news, updates….well you know the ropes! LOL
I have several Satellite Shops in SecondLife and a MAIN SHOP.
I hope you come to visit me and feel free to send me a notecard any time.
