I imagine Mermaids to play before the storm, romp amid the storm and

rejoicing soon after the balmy breeze!

She finds her friends in the azure sea waters;

then dines along with the fish before plundering to all her treasures.

She waits for the splashing waves to bring about mystifying blustery squalls;

which comes again and some more!

Her favorite time is the calm before the storm….

amid the rainy gales and, of course, after the whilrlwinds die down!

After all, the ocean is her shelter from the storm!

Collabor88 has been on fire these past couple of rounds!

The Designers showcasing their latest items

have been producing some of the most amazing mesh to hit the grid ever!

I certainly congratulate them on their uniqueness and

quality set forth for probably anyone in SL that loves to

decorate, blog, photograph or simply wear the coolest of styles!

Every time I open a mesh program, I stare at it, click on a few things,

set back and tell myself “laterzzzz”, then click out! LOL

I have GOT to take this mesh thing more serious!

I obviously made a huge focus on

Half Deer’s “Hippocampus” Aqua MerHorse

(from Collabor88’s previous round) here in my photo!

My mouth drools for more, Halo!!

Love, Love, Love all things by “anc!”

If you look carefully, you will see the golden gleams

from their Nebra Beads, too!

I pulled out CIRCA’s “Siren’s Song Kelp & Coral”

(available in her Siren’s Song Vanity Sets)

which brilliantly captured the teal-azura essence of

everything blending for my photoshoot!

I remember floating on a sailboat once upon a time atop

Lake Travis near Austin, Texas ~ where the winds

were totally not there.  Soaking in the sun, adding iodine to my

sunscreen (omg, yes we used to do that!), sipping on Perrier with lime,

gazing at the waves at an upside-down angle while sunning my tummy;

lined up with the rest of my friends doing the same….

then….!!

A HUGE HUGE “something” came out of the water….

Yes – HUGE! (not a catfish, bass or turtle)

….then!!

A HUGE splash and waves coming our way….

We all sat up, pulled our feet in from the waters

(you should have seen the look on our faces!)

and discussed the possibilities that Loc Ness or a

non-salt-water Hippocampus….or something of that nature

must be living below these waters!

Binoculars found no traces ever again! LOL

But the memory is sure there!

Anyone have a similar experience?

So….as soon as I saw these adorable MerHorses by Half Deer, I made sure

they had a nice home of their own at my mermaid cave to swim in!

*** I took a couple of mermaid photos this past Sunday and finally

have time to get them posted after a loooooong loooooong class this week

and tending to a re-injury of a displaced knee from about 3+ years ago…

Feeling much better today and made 100% on my test!…….
