At times I play around with my SecondLife review photos, and mostly

I try to post a final of them where the designs are quite visible

and not to gauzed-out or tainted with canvas-style blending.

I do always make my photos a piece of art where I sit back and say to myself

“Someone would buy that and hang it on the wall!”

As I was layering, playing and quaffing with this particular photo,

I decided to keep this result to present on Flickr!

Below you can see the original before the roistered final!

My reason, of course, is to show off the details of the décor and wardrobe!

A few weeks ago I was excited to get an IM from a dear, dear friend of mine

that I have known in real for many years asking: “Bambi, is that you?”

Surprise!

She had just created an account so I took her to Slink, LoveMe Skins and several

other shops to help her get dolled up and model-like in Second Life!

My nick-name for her is Ariz and I am sure you will be seeing a lot of her with me!

She has always enjoyed my blog reviews and photography and said she wanted

to learn more about all this “stuff”!

Hence, I asked her to pose with me yesterday!

“Now I understand!”, she said!

I explained to her that it takes a lot for a Blogger to get one photograph

ready for review, time deciding on the scenery items or sim,

the poses, coordinating hair & nails & make-up & eyes & accessories,

making sure all the designers previewed are updated on a spreadsheet with all their links,

testing photo shots, setting windlights, crashing and coming back ( omg yes at times ),

setting the graphics levels just right, taking it to photoshop and preparing it for quality

digital art appeal, “fixing” things….yes I’m from Texas, ya’all!, and…..

well you know the rest of THAT story!

And you all know how long it takes to add to flickr groups!

Wheeeeewwwww! HOURS!

Yet it is sooooo worth it!

A few days ago I spent some time at the Wayward Carnival to take photos and

picked up these exquisite Old Ferris Wheels by Soy and decided to

toss out some abandoned items from Fetch for my photo shoot!

Yes, I have a Circus folder!

I decided to take Ariz to Runa’s sim “Dandelion Daydreams Factory” to show

it off and explain some tidbits about roleplay…..not to mention the hidden

tunnels to explore….and selected a nice cozy lagoon to set up for this photo!

And so as of very late last night it all came together!

My friend Ariz, amazing items from spectacular designers, a gorgeous sim and

Ok, don’t get your panties in a wad and go searching (right away)…..

I made these star staffs myself in photoshop.

I am ALSO making a paper airplane with a note to fly over to Draconias,

of Souzou Eien, with a little hint to please make these staffs, too,

to match his gorgeous “Spangled Halo”!!

This lovely comes with a Color HUD, so let your imagination run free

while you are running to Genre to grab this up for yourself!

I am sooooooo loving the sprigs, up-do’s, braids, mohawks and any other types

of hairs that have landed in my inventory from Hair Fair 2015!!

I flipped over Cheveux’ “F070” Bow Hair and smitten with the blondes

selection! I thought about adding a few florals or something for the photo, but

really did not want to over-do it and take away from it’s beauty!

I am still pulling out the Fallen Angel series poses from Black Tulip Poses

for OneWord ~ Dreamy….dreamy…dreamy!!

And, I guess you have noticed by now that I can’t get enough of LoveMe

Skins!!! Her Briana Milky Skin is dazzling with the softness of The Annex’s

“Dacha Dress” in a sand palette!

What more could a girl want?

Hair Fair 2015 is almost here!!!

The 10th Annual Second Life Hair Fair 2015

will open it’s doors July 11 and spin through July 26th!

This is one of the most visited, most popular, most populated with designers,

most wanted and most needed events we all love!!

I have been selected to blog for this exciting event and will be posting some

creative and elaborate photos to show off during the event!

….getting ready to hop in for Early Access Blogger Day!!….Blogger Night!!

So before I raced off I wanted to show off one of my favorite hair designers….Zibska!

The photo above shows her “Lou Deux Hair” that is available in her shop, but

I will be picking up more of her new hair at Hair Fair tonight and can’t wait to

shoot some photos with my finds and review here for ya!

All bandanas sold at the Hair Fair have been created by

Residents all over SL and 100% of sales of those go to Wigs for Kids,

and are only available for sale during this event, and destroyed after it ends.

They will be transfer, so you can gift them.

** There will be two adjoining sims for the first few days as extra landing points,

so that more people can tp and shop!

** Every transaction made at Hair Fair will donate a portion to Wigs for Kids,

the charity of choice for Hair Fair 2015.

I finally had a chance to visit Ermandalee’s “Sarawak” venue to oogle

and oggle throughout the full fantasy exploring adventure!

Will I return? Of course and quite soon!

She has created one of the most gorgeous and serene allurements

I have traveled to so far!

While LL decided to do a

roll-out-can’t-go-home-come-back-soon-thingy today,

rather than be upset or panic…I took the time to enjoy a peaceful Sarawak!

The Alchemy Event is coming to a close, so this is your last chance to

round begins! I was delighted how well Les Encantades’s “Marilla” Gown

“Wishing For My Cowboy To Come Home” by Bambi Chicque

As I was setting up my new ranch area with Trompe Loeil’s new

Raleigh Wedding Barn, I couldn’t help but want to capture the

breathtaking view of the rafters for you to see!

It reminded me of when I was a younger gal playing hide-and-seek

with my cousins at my Grand-Dad’s ranch…….

One day my cousin, Keith, asked if I wanted to climb up in the rafters

of Grand-Dad’s barn and sneak over to his cattle house to see what he does

in there. I had been told by Grand-Dad that I was never allowed over there, so

as a curious youngster I said “yes”! We climbed up into the musky and

dusty loft of the old barn, crawled on our bellies to an open window

(watching out for rattle snakes and scorpions) which

oversaw the cattle house. Just as I peaked over and looked into the

single-lit room, Grand-Dad has just brought a cow through the shoot and shot it!

OMG!

Remember, my Grand-Dad was not only a farmer and rancher, he also

had a meat market that people drove for miles and miles to buy sides of

beef and special cuts from him.

I let out a loud scream and Grand-Dad instantly chewed Keith out for

dragging me up there. The bottom line to the story is that I have such a heart

for animals – yes, even cows and had no clue how the meats ever ended

up in his marketplace for sale.

I stopped eating beef after that!

The reminder of my family’s many ranches (including the famous 6666 Ranch),

barns, silos, farm houses and country homes is mainly the reason

Trompe Loeil’s Raleigh Ranch

created a pitter-patter to my heart and I knew I would set up a nice

area for my friends and I to enjoy the simple and quainter parts of life

while in SL! This structure is magnificent and I strongly encourage

you to get one of these, along with his Wedding Decor that he created

too!

I had just received Oddity’s new blogger review package with the

cowgirl style outfit – so this was perfect timing for this photo!

Also, Oneword Round Seven Fairytales is coming

March 1st – March 15th!

Black Tulip will have 4 sets of “Dark Fairy” poses that are

breathtaking for all you fairies and roleplay posers!
