Fantasy Faire is embracing the hearts of Second Life through May 8th, 2022. The theme is always to build a world without Cancer. Designers are offering new and exclusive items relating to fantasy via Relay For Life Vendors where you, too, can be a part of the donations going to this successful fund-raising event. Fantasy Faire began in 2009 and has grown with passion ever since.
As you visit one of my favorite realms to shop and explore “Living Echos”, you will see the gorgeous purple Nimethiel Trees (RFL Item by Harshlands) blooming and flourishing throughout the build. Purple is the theme color for Relay For Life and as you shop, you will be able to select lots and lots of purple designs! Go purple yourself!
And the mushrooms! OMgosh! En Pointe created some very popular and unique styles of mushrooms for all of us dreamscape lovers! I’ll be spreading these around many times over and over! You are able to modify the glowing; which I did for this photo so you can see the hanging fungi skirting each of them. There are also pods for which you can spread out or set the mushrooms upon!
Instantly I fell in love with Konoha’s “Jadite Trees and Citrine Flora” (both mesh items)! Talk about fantasy for your garden or undersea experiences!
Another popular FF2022 item is KMH’s F195 Braided Hair! I am particularly in favor of this set since the color variations (Fatpack) are unique and I’ll be able to wear this for many reviews in the future since it offers a style for many!
We all have followed Juna through her art in tattoos for many years. She has a wonderful “Naimi Head & Body Tattoo” Set which offers a variation in opacities. Another fantasy must to add to your beautiful bodies!

Dark Junctions ~ at Faireland Junction ~ Fantasy Faire 2022
It’s raining tonight at Fairelands Junction where the soft drops echo splashes of myth and myrrh. A vast consortium of direct wonder illuminates in the crystals abound. It’s a treasured worthwhile visit for my soul as I spin from beneath the earth to find my purpose in tonight’s sojourn.
I can only crawl in the depths of night; relying on my raven companion to guide my way. He flew me to an oracle of mystical surprises this eve. Here I shall find my dining delights!
Bard Queen at Fairelands Junction
The Bard Queen looks quite delicious as my eyes turn purple and blue; wishing I my blood thirst was not so vigorous. I must resolve to refrain for at least til midnight when protection for all ends with the storm.
Fairy Allure
The closer I get to the fairies, the harder my resistance becomes. In the distance I watch them lighting candles for their loved ones no longer here. I shall cloak myself behind the stone moon above the waters where obscure floral spirits float. As one unlucky creature passes my path ever so slightly, my duty tonight shall come to a bloody end.
Riven Bursts
And yet, I ponder much more as to what their delight must be in this land of life and portals. I hear chatters of a LitFest and writing circles from time to time. My head spins in confusion for what causes their devotion to such gibberish. If only I had my mortal life back once more, maybe I too could enjoy the adventure here.

Fantasy Faire Dates: April 21 to May 8, 2022.
And so, the story goes, and a traveler must adhere. Your first stop at Fantasy Faire should always be at Fairelands Junction. Each Fairland will be represented at a gateway; inviting you to explore the individual magics and shops on each land. The Worldlings Cradle displays works of miniature representations of fantasy worlds created by talented individuals in Second Life. Make sure you buy a candle (or more) where you can light it in honor of your personal loved ones you have lost to Cancer. Next explore this beautiful area and take lots of photographs to keep as a cherished memory of Fantasy Faire 2022!

I especially love the gown I am wearing by Rainnn (Vamp Corset Gown) and the specular materials glowing a nice blue hue mixed with the black. It was a perfect set matching it up with Eventrya’s “Mystical Marble Of Light Nail Appliers” (Hunt Item) and a wonderful fae skin by Arcana. Arcana has a fae skin for her hunt item….so fly fly fly now!
While dusk of eve clouds the moon, all life illuminates in bursts. Slithers of magical orbs heal the lands during the night to recover the wicked Lisandre’s death fall under the suns evening’s last sparkle. Baliana hides quickly before nightfall in hopeless fear of being seized.
Lisandre never hints a guilty conscience once you are in her dungeon. She travels Necturn far and wide to round up pods of Worldlings before they turn the moon from her clutches. She would lose all powers over the land and fizzle into golden dust for the meek to burn in their kindles. The fires of Styx upon which she rides, will melt your heart at a glimpse of the eye.
Lisandre’s Death Wish
Better to hide and escape this death wish.
But there is hope for this relay! Peace roams the mystical paths of Necturn with her spangles of green. The giant warrior can crumble Lisandre’s black heart if one crumble glides beneath her nose. There’s an ever-turning venture each night with these two. One for the good, the other for death.
Immortal Peace
Baliana harbors herself and other Worldings in the shadows while anticipating another fruitful rescue. Grandiose blooms and vast leaves conceal their retreat each night. Fireflies sing in the winds causing shifts in the forest sighs. One can become tranced and transformed with the love this magical place can truly be. Life is good every day, until the sun fades. The pursuit begins.
Necturn Moon at Fantasy Faire 2022 ~ Eternal Garden of Peace
In the distance and beyond the mountains they hear the war between Peace and Lisandre’s battle. Shattering crystals fly high and land deep into the meadows. A joyous smile chisels their faces once more. Peace abounds and brings bliss to their hearts. Lisandre and Styx fade away into the depths of arcane madness once more.
The hunt is finally over.
Just before the misty horizon glows yet again, Baliana ushers the others to the memorial enchanted fantasy stone. Each lights another candle and dreams their light will never fade.
May Your Light Never Fade
The war on cancer is quite similar to my story. It brings fire to the hearts of wonderful people who have no reason or rhyme as to why it has come. It only wants to bring death, despair and fear. It may leave, but it may also return. We are all touched by this sadness. It has become one of the most important subjects of fund raisers in Second Life; whereby Fantasy Faire will accomplish raising an enormous amount of monies for Relay For Life.
And this is where “you” come in…
Spend a few days visiting each of the Fairelands and be prepared to shop. What do you get? The item you purchase and will enjoy forever will be well worth the spend for you and for RFL; each RFL vendor will send 100% of the Lindens to the American Cancer Society for future studies and more.
Did you know? In 2021 Fantasy Faire ranked a whopping 19th out of 40,000 Relay For Life Teams “worldwide” (real world) in the term of money-raised. And, Relay For Life Second Life was the “4th” highest RFL fundraising community event worldwide! You can be a reason for this success again in 2022.

I am proud, once again, to be one of the Official Bloggers for Fantasy Faire! Most of you know that I am also the sole Designer for BamPu Legacies and I also have a Faireland Shop this year with many RFL vendors. I get thrilled rezzing out all the wonderful blog packs and it’s always such a decision on where to begin because I would love to review them all.
Today I selected a sweetheart of a gown full of real mesh butterflies floating from the skirt section. Ashbourne & Burleigh added a hint of florals on the skirt which blended quite well as the full ensemble comes together! To coordinate with the set, I placed Petrichor’s “Kaira Cameo Choker & Earrings” on and a smile came upon my pixel face when the HUD offered lots of colors to select from!
I usually add a fur baby somehow to my review photos and decided on the Animesh Barn Own by CKit Falconry! I played and played with this cutey! You can click him and the menu is endless with poses, hoots and precious styling. You have got to go grab him yourself! He actually sits on your shoulder, but for the pose I wanted to have a look of him landing on my hand and copied a 2nd one for this.
I have always loved Solas Enchantment to pieces, Designer & Creator of Blue Moon Enterprises (BMe). She usually sweetens your inventory with lush adorned gowns for Fantasy Faire, but she sent us her new Mechanical Copper Wings to review. I LOVE WINGS! So of course, I added these as well. Good job, dear Solas! (They come in Gold and Copper….and they flap perfectly!)
As for my hair, I did wear 2 pieces and took it to photoshop for my final photo and blended in the sections to flow as if it were one piece!
I created some exclusive items for the current event “Ostara’s Alter” and picked up some wonderful fae fantasy skins from Arcana. She offers a large selection of styles and colors. I wanted to wear this before I dig into the amazing fantasy skins at Fantasy Faire 2022….so please come back tomorrow for a new story and review!

🌷 ⊱∻ Love Everlasting has his section at the Expo loaded up with fantastic outdoor items. The tent I am showing here and the Old Canoe (patiently awaiting my lake splash in the back) are wonderfully textured and are packed with poses; one of which I am using for this shot!
🌷 ⊱∻ AZ Studio’s Cypress Trees are designed for the sidewalks with grills, but I loved ’em so much I just slid them down below the forest ground and they worked perfectly!
🌷 ⊱∻ Now, pay attention here! LunaMare has been around for a while and most of you have bought his systems and gadgets. If not, gooooo now and visit his shops and H&G Expo booth. There’s a world of necessities awaiting you!
For his “Smart” Flowers I have placed merrily in the foreground, there’s an important factor to these sweeties! They are set up as a system for those of you who love to decorate for events or your sim areas whereby when you click them, it activates a menu. All you have to do is set out all the flowers from his collections and design place them where you want. Next, click/activate one of them and follow the menu instructions for coloring them all at once! Neat, huh? This will save you lots and lots of time!

I am showing the Crate Table that comes with their Adirondack Chairs and I especially love how they added color change texture options along with props to rez out on top!

This is one of my favorite years for the H&G Expo! The daily events include entertainment, auctions, exclusives, Lantern Releases, Show & Tell and being able to support Relay For Life!
I have wondered around the many sims and so impressed with the exclusive designs, the stage area and lots of attractions!
As a huge forever fan of Garvie Garzo (of MeadowWorks) I’ve had the pleasure to review her items many times. I am one of the lucky ones who has her full collection of the “Yoga Frogs”, but this year she added a unique set to this precious grouping! “Poker Frogs”! These items are usually on sale at the RFL Events, so hurry and grab yours!
I am particularly impressed with My View’s Bicycle Floral scene since I didn’t have to add anything to it! Lots and lots of flowers!
Cosmos Boutique created several landscape sets with perfection! The busy poker playing frogs are enjoying their poker night floating in Cosmo’s “Pond Under The Weeping Willow Tree”. The scene includes swimming ducks, lily pads, flowers and cattails! Behind the scene I set out their Hedgegrow set which includes Daffodils, Goldfinches & sweet fun rabbits!

I adore dishes! I collect dishes! I have zillions in real and inworld! Don’t take me to Neiman Marcus! Ouch on my pocketbook! I’m like Forest Gump’s friend who loves all types of shrimp! And, yes, I have collected dishes from around the world.
Ohana Gaming put together a superb collection of sunflower dishes and serving sets I am sure your kitchen is screaming for, too! Run to H&G and click those pretty purple RLF vendors before the Expo is over! Sunflower up your kitchen and dining tables!
And how did that Corgi get up on that fridge? Well, those silly billy goats have a sure way of butting you around so I’m sure as hungry as he stays, he didn’t mind the bash up to the top and out of harms way to eat the yummy cupcakes by Simply Designed!
I am especially impressed with Peregrine’s “Growing Breakfast”! Donuts every morning! Look out Krispy Kreme! The items are styled on a lovely serving tray and hands out lots of goodies when someone clicks!
As you know, the H&G Expo also showcases Artists who have inworld shops for their artwork. I had so many to choose from for this photo, but Wendy1435SL had the perfect yellow toned “Fruits And Green’s piece that styled with my messy kitchen!
Now what would you do if you came home to a bunch of hungry messy goats in your kitchen? I would laugh, of course!
