It’s all my fault. I just wanted my Fantasy Faire TV!
CAPTAIN’S LOG ~ and a cute little story…
9:35 a.m. – The spacecraft is 37 nautical miles high, downrange 61 nautical miles and traveling at 9,300 feet per second. Our course is scheduled for landing at Szystrum Synod in 9 months time approximately 8:45p.m.
10:47 a.m. – Dezimoth confirms the engine skirt and launch escape tower separations. Engines are firing and our flight seems to be smooth sailing. We look through the capsule at Elvicolim Isles where our families are waving good-bye and praying for our safe passage. I no longer see the forests of Valar or the outline of our Mirkwood meadows and kingdoms.
2:54 p.m. – The spacecraft is reported 22,000 nautical miles from Elvicolim Isles and traveling at 12,914 feet per second. Crew members keep busy with housekeeping duties.
8:52 p.m. – Mission Control says good night to the crew as we prepare to go to sleep until we arrive at our destination.
9:32 p.m. – I hide my sqeeghimoss pill so I can once more read of the chronicles of Walton Wainwright and his amazing colonization of Aetherpunk bodies and souls amid a cosmos and planetary dwellings. (Everyone else took their pills and fell asleep.) It is our understanding he has mastered a technical television whereby the system transmits sounds and visual moving images; which can be produced live or pre-filmed. Our world is in need of documenting our history and heritage before the time of the big lifecycle clouds turn dark and destroy all our lands. We are hoping Mr. Wainwright will travel back with us and help us to prepare for our future with his industrial science knowledges.
10:47 p.m. – The crew is now all asleep and our craft is on auto-pilot for our long journey. And now TubbiCat needs to wee-wee. I tip-toe to the brig and float my way to the litter vault. Suddenly TubbiCat jumps in the oxygen bypass hull and knocks me back to the front where my elbow slammed into a knob I’ve never seen before.
11:12 p.m. – I am now spinning upside down and floating quickly toward a button clearly marked “Do Not Touch Warp Speed”. TubbiCat has now wee-wee’d all over and his little yellow splatters are splashing in a million floating balls. You should see how big his eyes are! With total fear he leaps towards me hoping I will catch him but his bottom paw hits that “Do Not Touch Warp Speed” button.
11:14 p.m. – I now feel dizzier than I ever have; especially since I was a young elf bouncing from our golden spires trying to catch the fairy lights. Wait….I a…m……..now….slee…eeeee…p….y.
1:12 a.m. – Ten days later our spacecraft lands above the blackish rocks at the foot of Szystrum Synod. Oh my goodness we are 9 months early! I am the only one awake and I fear my crew will be angry when they come to.
1:25 a.m. – TubbiCat and I decide to open the door and move forward with our quest to find Mr. Wainwright. I see all sorts of strangeness here. The dwellings are filled with odd contraptions reflecting years of past mixed with the new. These humans are not quite what I expected and yet everyone here seems quite joyous.
2:15 a.m. – I find myself alone now, after passing messages to passerby folks asking of Mr. Wainwrights whereabouts. He seems to be tied up in some sort of hunt. Yet, this hunt brings forth gifts and souvenirs of visiting his special region. They are all calling it Fantasy Faire.
3:00 a.m. – After roaming about freely and becoming engaged with all the strangeness and jubilee, someone offered to take my photo. I have never seen a photo before and now I am in even more awe that my time here will be well documented and I’ll have something to take back home with me.

Let’s talk about what I am wearing, shall we? This was magic and fun going through my blog boxes and sorting themes and designs once again this year!
For some reason I’ve had that song “I Want My M-TV” on the brain since I’ve been home a lot after a spell in the hospital and watching lots of movies; seeing this blurb with the astronaut jumping with the M-TV flag. So, much to my delight, when I tried on Ming+Stars “Inspired Retro Space Helmet” the full theme and set up for my review and photo came totally together…hence….all the silver-ish!
First, this tattoo? It’s a total wow since the dragon snakes around the body perfectly! ArtToo’s Ink packs it with 4 shades for you to choose from.
Next… Moth & Moon has perfect skins, in my opinion. No need for any neck blending at all. Each pack comes with many choices ranging from three cleavage options and freckle or no freckle for the body as well as the face. All head skins are half price for the duration of the event. There are 12 fantasy skin tones available with the “Aria” that I am wearing; my selection for this shot is “Ghost”. And, of course, they create perfect skins for men as well.
Banana Banshee always shows up with excellence in creating vivid eyes. I am wearing the Marienne set where you are able to wear one color for each eye or both eyes.
The mere mention of Petrichor at Fantasy Faire has me drooling! You can see the short dress version on me in this photo, but it also is available in a long set! The leather and chains are a perfect blend in this ensemble!
Once I threw on the Syren’s Song Enera Halo and watched the colors moving in sync with my radio – it was a win-win! The design itself is unusual and quite unique!
I always love a little fur baby in my pix, and Foxwood created an adorable “Space Kit” which comes in 2 designs for rezzing along with one to hold. I named him TubbiCat!
Finally, as I was working my way through the poses for one that would work as if floating in space, I took the Male pose from Aelithe’s “Faithfully” Set! The set is actually quite wonderful with a gentle boyfriend bending over as if to kiss his partner as she sits in a wheelchair reaching and looking back up to him. Gotta grab this one for a really nice sweet scene, if you are a blogger!
So in conclusion, everything came together perfectly for this scene and I went totally nuts over Walt’s region at Fantasy Faire. There are so many spots to shoot pix where most of the time people aren’t really in the view! The set and design just topped off everything he’s done….how can he get any better?
